Το 1ο ΓΕ.Λ. Λιβαδειάς συμμετείχε στο συνέδριο προσομοίωσης του Μοντέλου Ηνωμένων Εθνών (MUN) μετά από 3 χρόνια αποχής λόγω της πανδημίας. Το Σάββατο και την Κυριακή 1-2 Απριλίου 2023, 13 μαθητές/μαθήτριες του σχολείου μας, από την Α και Β τάξη, πήραν μέρος στο 6ο ACGMUN που διεξήχθη στο campus του Pierce American College στην Αγία Παρασκευή Αθηνών.
Το φετινό κεντρικό θέμα του συνεδρίου ήταν το ‘Breaking Barriers’ και η επίσημη γλώσσα διεξαγωγής του, όπως πάντα, τα Αγγλικά. Οι χώρες που εκπροσώπησαν οι μαθητές μας σε ρόλο πρεσβευτή ήταν η Τουρκία και η Τσεχία και οι επιτροπές στις οποίες συμμετείχαν ήταν οι ακόλουθες:

Στο συνέδριο που είναι εγκεκριμένο από το Υπουργείο Παιδείας συμμετείχαν συνολικά 500 μαθητές/μαθήτριες από 3 δημόσια σχολεία εκτός Αθηνών, από όλα σχεδόν τα ιδιωτικά σχολεία της Αθήνας, καθώς και από σχολεία του εξωτερικού (Ολλανδία, Αίγυπτος, Κύπρος).
Θερμά συγχαρητήρια στους μαθητές μας που προετοίμασαν τα θέματά τους με στοχευμένη έρευνα, εκφώνησαν λόγους με τη θέση της χώρας που εκπροσωπούσαν, και βρήκαν λύσεις λογομαχώντας μέσα από τις συμμαχίες που δημιούργησαν.
